Harambee Stars coach Engin Firat has named the starting team for Thursday’s international friendly match against Qatar.

The coach has handed Daniel Anyembe a maiden start since the Denmark-based defender switched allegiance to the Kenyan team.

There’s also room in the starting team for Johnstone Omurwa, who has started off well at Portuguese top-tier side Estrella this season.

Richard Odada, Anthony Akumu, and Kenneth Muguna will form the midfield partnership while upfront, Masud Juma, and Elvis Rupia will partner with Michael Olunga.

The match kicks off at 6.15 pm at Al Janoub Stadium, Doha Qatar.
