Kibera Black Stars clinched their first victory of the season with a 2-0 away win against Silibwet at Silibwet Stadium on Saturday, September 23, 2023.

The breakthrough came courtesy of Richdonald Bolo, who found the back of the net just before halftime. Michael Owen further solidified the victory with a 72nd minute goal.

Meanwhile, SS Assad capitalized on their home advantage by defeating Rainbow FC 2-0. The first half remained goalless, but the match dynamics shifted in the second half. Alex Mwalimu struck in the 76th minute, and Lazo Nongela added another goal in the 85th minute, ultimately making the difference.

In another fixture, Kajiado secured their second consecutive win this season. Ayub Twaha scored in the 61st minute, and Alfani Kateti sealed the deal with a goal in the 79th minute.

Other notable results included Mombasa Elite’s victory over Gusii FC and a 1-1 draw between Naivas and FKF NSL newcomers Luanda Villa. The match between Darajani Gogo and Mombasa Stars ended in a goalless draw.
