The Kenya Women’s U20 National Team, Rising Starlets, has entered the fourth day of their residential training as of Wednesday, October 4, 2023, in preparation for their upcoming two-legged second-round FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Angola.
The 30 players have reported to camp.
As part of their ongoing preparation, the team played against Kahawa Pride ladies today and secured an 18-0 victory at Kasarani Annex.
Rising Starlets is gearing up for the first leg against Angola, scheduled for Sunday, October 8, 2023. Subsequently, they will travel to Angola for the second leg on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, ahead of the away match on Saturday, October 14, 2023.
The victor of this tie on aggregate will advance to face the winner of the second-round clash between Cameroon and Botswana in the third round.
