Kenya Police won 2-0 against Ulinzi Stars in their FKF Premier League match on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Police Sacco Stadium.
The first half concluded without any goals however, the deadlock was broken early in the second half when Francis Kahata scored, putting the hosts in the lead. The momentum continued for the home team as Abud Omar doubled the lead with a free-kick.
This victory allowed Kenya Police to claim the first derby bragging rights of the season.
Meanwhile, at Bukhungu Stadium Kakamega Homeboyz secured a victory against sofapaka. Four goals in the first half and one in the second were enough to seal victory.
The scoring was opened by Stephen Opuku in the 30th minute. Brian Eshihanda scored a brace, his first coming in the 41st minute and another in the 43rd Anbrose Sifuna rounded off the scoring in the first half in the 44th minute mark.
The second half saw a 57th minute strike from Christopher Mbehelo find the back of the net solidifying Kakamega Homeboyz’s victory.
At Ruaraka, Ian Omondi gave Talanta a lead in the 3rd minute against Muhoroni Youth the first half ended 1-0. Another goal was witnessed in added time this time Tanui Alfred hit the mark.
FKF PL continues tomorrow before a two week international break to give way for the 2026 world Cup qualifiers.
