Nairobi United played to a 1-1 draw with Vihiga Bullets in their FKF National Super League match on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Kasarani Annex.

Bullets opened the scoring in the 43rd minute through a Lawrence Ouma strike taking an advantage into halftime. In the 53rd minute Isaak Andrew brough Nairobi United back to level terms. Both teams sought a winner but their efforts were in vain. The match ended with the two sides sharing the spoils.

At Awendo Green, Mara Sugar secured a close victory against Mombasa Elite. Mara Sugar had the better start taking a 2-goal advantage. Current National Super League top scorer, Philemon Nyakwaka, scored a brace that gave his team the lead.

The second half witnessed Mombasa Elite try to claw back the deficit, pulling one back in the 51st minute through Woodvying Okoth but Mara still restored their 2-goal advantage when Isaac Otieno found the back of the net 20 minutes after. Mombasa Elite however did manage to pull back another goal back through Polycarp Luvanda and it stayed 3-2 till the end of the match.

Mathare United continue their impressive form following another victory in the FKFNSL, this time over MCF. Ochieng Meshack’s sole goal in the 73rd minute the difference between the two sides.

Mathare United retain top spot in the FKFNSL standings for another week. FKFNSL continues tomorrow Sunday, November 12, 2023.
