Harambee Starlets draw 1-1 with Botswana in their first leg 2024 Women Africa Cup of Nations qualifier encounter played today, Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Nyayo Stadium.

Keitunetse Dithede opened the scoring for Botswana in the 36th minute. Marjoline Nekesa seized the penalty opportunity, equalizing the scores in the 48th minute.

The second half saw both sides attempt to break the deadlock, but the full-time whistle sealed the scores at 1-1.

Harambee Starlets now shift their focus on the second leg in Botswana, set to be played on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. The team travels to Botswana on Sunday, December 3, 2023.
