FC Milima Queens and Kisiwa Starlets secure spots in the quarter finals of the FKF Women Cup after securing victories against FKF Women Premier League sides Nakuru City Queens and Vihiga Queens respectively on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Sudi Stadium.
The First half ended in a deadlock with neither teams threatening the goal. However, the second half witnessed a change of fortunes as Barbara Masitsa opened the scoring for Milima Queens in the 47th minute before Eunice Nabwoba’s brace in the 81st and 88th minute to seal a 3-0 victory.
In the early kick off of the double header at Sudi Stadium, Kisiwa starlets also beat Vihiga Queens by a sole goal in the 32nd minute by Shamim Makokha.
Over at MamboLeo Stadium, Kenya Police Bullets also secured a spot in the quarter finals after beating KISPED by 2 goals. Lucy Kwekwe scored Bullet’s opener in the 31st minute taking a lead into halftime break. The second goals was scored by Diana Wacera in the 54th minute.
FKF Women’s Cup continues tomorrow at different venues around the country.
