PASC Langa (Rift Valley) and Obunga FC (Nyanza) have secured their spots in the 4th edition of the Chapa Dimba na Safaricom finals.

PASC Langa outclassed Ebwali FC (Western) with a commanding 4-0 victory, while Obunga FC defeated Bandari Youth (Coast) 2-0 in the semi-finals held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the Mamboleo Stadium.

Obunga FC’s journey to the finals has been marked by remarkable victories, including a resounding 4-0 triumph over Nyaguku FC from Nyamira and a historic first-time qualification for the national finals after a thrilling 2-1 victory against Awendo Academy in the regional final.

Their opponents in the final, PASC Langa, clinched the Rift Valley regional title in their game against the defending champions, Laiser Hill Academy from Kajiado County, emerging victorious with a hard-fought 2-1 scoreline at ASK Showground Nakuru.

The two now get ready for a head-to-head showdown in the Safaricom Chapa Dimba finals to be played on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at the Mamboleo Stadium.

The winning teams in the national finals will walk away with Ksh. 1 million in cash, while the runners-up and second runners-up will receive Ksh. 500,000 and Ksh. 250,000, respectively.

Additionally, each player, both winners, runners-up, and second runners-up, will receive Neon Smartphones, the first locally assembled 4G smartphone in Kenya.

Outstanding players, including the Best Goalkeeper, Top Scorer, and Most Valuable Player (boys and girls), will also each get Kshs 50,000.
