The second leg of the Mashemeji derby for the 2023/24 season takes center stage in round 27 of the FKF Premier League, as Gor Mahia prepares to host arch-rivals AFC Leopards on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Nyayo Stadium.

In the initial encounter of the season, Gor Mahia secured a 2-0 victory over Leopards at Kasarani Stadium, claiming the early bragging rights.

K’ogalo also comes into the derby currently at the summit of the league standings with 54 points while AFC Leopards on the other hand are currently placed 8th with 38 points.

However, AFC Leopards have been enjoying a good run of form in the last 6 matches winning 3, drawing 2 and losing only one.

The derby is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm and will be broadcasted LIVE on Azam Sports 3HD.

Additionally, Police Sacco Stadium will witness a doubleheader on Saturday, April 20, 2024. Kariobangi Sharks will take on Nzoia Sugar at 1 pm, followed by Kenya Police facing off against Sofapaka at 4 pm. These matches will be televised on KBC.

Other round 27 matches feature a clash between Shabana and Kakamega Homeboyz at Homabay Stadium while Bandari faceoff against KCB at Mbaraki Stadium.
